Sofas and More's First ever Website..
Sofas and More had never had a website before. The goal was clear: build a website that’s beautiful, easy to use, and gives customers a smooth shopping experience — whether they want ready-made furniture or custom pieces.

Kicking Off with Clarity
Before I started, I had a call with the sofas and more team to understand exactly what they needed. Then, I sent a questionnaire to learn more about their goals, audience, design style, and websites they liked.
With all that info, I began turning their vision into a real website.

researched the furniture industry and the people Sofas and More wanted to reach. Their ideal customers are high-end clients in Nigeria — people who care about quality and are ready to invest in well-made furniture.
This helped me shape the website’s design and tone to speak directly to those customers.

Design, Development & Functionality
Hero Section with Shop & Projects
Right at the top, I added two clear buttons: Shop and Projects.
- Shop helps customers start buying furniture quickly.
- Projects show real examples of past work, building trust by proving the brand’s skills.
This helps both sales and confidence in their craftsmanship.
Shop by Category
I created big, clear category sections like Living Room and Bedroom with easy labels and pictures.
This lets customers jump straight to what they want, saving time and avoiding confusion.
Key Benefits Section
A simple section with four clear points:
- Comfort
- Delivery
- Quality
- Customization
Each point has an icon and short text explaining why Sofas and More stands out. This quickly builds trust and helps customers understand the brand’s value.
Footer Section
I designed the footer to include:
- Contact info
- Social media links
- Quick access to pages like Projects and Shop
- Popular product categories
- Top-rated products
This keeps users engaged and makes it easy to find important info.
I also included the brand’s value proposition here, so shoppers remember what makes Sofas and More special.
Website Navigation Menu
I set up two separate menus:
- One for general links like Home, Shop, Contact
- Another just for product categories like Bedroom, Living Room
This helps users find what they want quickly, especially on small screens.
Easy Login and Registration
Clear “Log in / Register” buttons are at the top menu, making it easy for returning customers to sign in or create accounts.
This helps the business build customer loyalty and lets users manage their orders easily.
Organized Shop Page
Instead of showing all products at once, the shop page is organized to show:
- Product categories like Bedroom, Kitchen, Dining
- Subcategories or products when a category is tapped
This makes browsing simple and smooth, improving shopping experience and guiding customers clearly.
Free Shipping Progress Bar
I coded a progress bar that shows how close shoppers are to getting free shipping when they add items worth ₦2,000,000 (~$2,700).
As customers add products, the bar fills up and congratulates them once free shipping is unlocked.
This encourages bigger orders and helps the business increase sales
Smart WhatsApp Order Links
When customers click “Order Via WhatsApp”, the message they send includes the exact product name and a direct link to the product page.
This helps the business know exactly what the customer wants and makes ordering fast and clear for both sides.
Instant Cart Feedback
When a product is added to the cart, the cart panel slides open immediately with a green confirmation message.
This quick feedback reduces confusion, makes shopping satisfying, and encourages customers to add more items.
Free Shipping Progress Bar
I coded a progress bar that shows how close shoppers are to getting free shipping when they add items worth ₦2,000,000 (~$2,700).

I made a simple training guide showing how to use WooCommerce, upload products, and manage orders.
This helps the client feel confident running their site without always needing help, making life easier for both of us.
