A business wanted to highlight important partnerships and promotional campaigns without disrupting the website layout or customer experience.
The sidebar needed to remain visible as visitors navigated the website while giving administrators full control over how, where, and when it appeared.
Existing WordPress solutions lacked the flexibility required for the project, so a custom sticky sidebar system was developed directly inside WordPress.
The Problem
The business needed a way to promote key partnerships and important links that remained visible throughout the customer journey.
The solution needed to provide control over:

The business also wanted non-technical staff to manage the sidebar without relying on a developer for updates.
The Solution
A custom sticky sidebar system was built that displays a vertical promotional tab on either side of the screen while remaining visible as users scroll.
The system can be used to promote:

From the WordPress admin area, administrators can:
- Update sidebar text
- Upload logos and images
- Control colours and styling
- Adjust font settings
- Choose left or right positioning
- Control where the sidebar appears
- Hide the sidebar on mobile devices
- Update destination links at any time
All updates can be managed through a dedicated settings panel without modifying code.
