By Shubz is a fashion and lifestyle brand selling fabrics, jewelry, and fashion accessories.
Before the project started, the business was preparing to launch its first online store and was deciding between Shopify and WooCommerce.
One of the biggest concerns was cost.
The brand needed a professional ecommerce website that could support online sales without introducing heavy monthly platform fees during the early stages of growth.
After reviewing the business goals, WooCommerce was selected as the foundation for the project because it provided the flexibility the brand needed while avoiding recurring platform costs.
The result was a fully functional ecommerce website that reflects the brand’s bold personality while making it easy for customers to browse products, place orders, and shop from different countries.

Multi-Currency Shopping
A multi-currency solution was implemented so international customers can switch currencies and view prices in a format that feels familiar to them.
This makes the store more welcoming for customers shopping from outside Nigeria and removes unnecessary friction during purchasing
WhatsApp Customer Support
A WhatsApp support system with multiple contact options was integrated directly into the website.
This allows customers to ask questions, request assistance, and receive support without leaving the website.
The feature helps build trust and gives shoppers a quick way to get help before placing an order.
Conversion-Focused Product Pages
The product page experience was structured to help customers make purchasing decisions more confidently.
This included:
- Clear Add to Cart actions
- Multiple payment options
- Related products
- Trust indicators
- Simplified product presentation
The goal was to reduce hesitation and make purchasing feel straightforward.
Welcome Offer & Coupon Experience
A welcome popup offer was added to encourage first-time visitors to subscribe and claim a discount.
The coupon experience was also simplified so customers could easily apply promotional codes during checkout.
This helps encourage first purchases while making discounts easier to use.
USPS Shipping Configuration
Shipping options were configured using USPS services.
After reviewing the available shipping methods with the client, unnecessary options were removed and the checkout experience was simplified to display only the preferred shipping method requested by the business.
This reduced confusion during checkout and created a cleaner purchasing experience for customers.
Outcome
The project delivered a complete ecommerce foundation for the brand.
